Test Matchmove

This is my my maychmove test I created the match move using auto desk's Matchmover and the autotrack feature.

On Location

This is the rig I had set up to film my project I used two skateboards with really soft wheels on a level piece of wood. I was really pleased with the result a test matchmove will be uploaded soon to show the outcome.

Location Problems

I came to shoot my video and when getting to my location I found out that they had closed it off so I am unable to film in my original location.

I am going to use my second choice which is the location below. (as showed in Previous blog post.)

Story Board

This is the storyboard for my project.

Synopsis and Treatment

Synopsis

This video is going to be a 30 second establishing shot of a futuristic city scape. Its going to show a man getting out of a hover car and walking through a  run down area. The shot will then pan upwards revealing a futuristic city with large skyscrapers and hover cars and birds flying through the city.

Treatment.

Fading in from black a close up shot of a car door is shown a man gets out of the car and slams the door. As the door slams the shot changes to a medium long shot revealing the car is hovering and the person is walking through a run down area. As the person walks closer to the building the shot then pans upwards revealing skyscrapers billboards and futuristic buildings. The shot will then fade out to black.

Location Part 2

After receiving feedback on my location ideas my tutor has told me to change them reasons being that the car park location has been used lots of times for students work and feels I should try somewhere different. He also felt that the derelict factory wouldn't be suitable so I went back out to find more locations. The two new locations are a lot better and my tutor was pleased with both of them. The location I hope to shoot my project will be the second picture down. I feel it looks more dramatic.

Location Ideas

I have been walking around Leicester to try and find some location ideas here are a few I have liked so far I am just waiting for feed back off of my tutor.
